Job description
The Solar Sales Representative will work with homeowners, municipalities, schools, organizations, and businesses to foster relationships throughout the community leading to greater energy independence. The solar specialist will contact existing warm leads via email and phone, conduct solar energy surveys of their properties, and design solar energy systems. Collaborating with office and engineering staff to ensure a smooth installation is crucial for a seamless customer experience and building long-term relationships.
The territory is greater Maine, with 90% of the work occurring within 1.5 hours of Searsport. This position also occasionally includes community outreach about solar energy in Maine, attending trade shows, and giving presentations.

Solar Design Engineer
It will be your responsibility to support Sundog Solar and our sales associates with accurate design and engineering tasks related to our projects in a timely manner and within company parameters. Other responsibilities will include detailed clarification on scopes of work for project management, in coordination and collaboration with office management, office administrative staff, field operations management, and crew leads. - Provide engineering services for solar PV projects ranging in scale from 1kW-2MW). These services include designing and drafting, energy performance modeling, project estimating
