Our customer was seeking an option for a roof-mounted system that would not penetrate her rubber roof-top. This installation with ballasts and panel claws holds the solar panels securely in place without penetration. The PV system is coupled with a Solar Edge system that allows our customer to monitor her daily energy use.
Our commercial customer, Coyote Moon in Belfast Maine also took advantage of State incentives through Efficiency Maine to purchase efficient lightbulbs.

This 7.5 kW commercial system in Belfast, Maine is comprised of 30 Canadian solar modules, coupled with Solar Edge 3.8 kW inverters. The system is attached to the roof with Snap n Rack roof-mounting system.
You might never know it, but this Belfast business, MTA Accounting is harnessing the sun for its energy needs! (See rooftop installation, at left). Our customer decided to maximize his system by adding super cost-effective mini-split heat pumps. Now, single zone 24 BTU and multi-zone 24 BTU units cool or heat his business efficiently!

This system for the University of Maine in Orono features Solar Electric Dual Access Tracking Array. Although the customer’s 20 year old flat plate solar hot water collectors were still working, the system was ready for upgrade to account for future usage.
The complete installation isn’t visible from the ground, preserving the historic character of University of Maine’s architecture. The installation necessitated custom made clamps, welded to existing structure to accommodate the force of the wind anticipated.
